Placed into the warm haven of “Silk Road Promise”

In August 2018, the “Silk Road Promise: New-Style Xinjiang Cuisine” restaurant opened in Urumqi. For eight years, it has pioneered the innovative development of Xinjiang cuisine. Rooted in Xinjiang, we deeply integrate culinary traditions from nations along the Silk Road. Guests consistently praise our offerings and often inquire about additional experiences at Silk Road Promise. Beyond dining, patrons sought deeper connections to Xinjiang and Silk Road culture through us. Their aspirations took root like seeds in the founders' hearts. After all, isn't Xinjiang's cuisine itself born from this very land?

In August 2025, after two years of preparation, “Silk Road Promise · Kashgar Homestay” was born in Kashgar, a crucial stop on the ancient Silk Road. Nestled within the alleys of Kashi's historic city center, we selected ten old buildings embodying quintessential local character. While respecting and preserving their traditional appearance to the greatest extent possible, we invited local designers deeply rooted in Xinjiang culture to reinterpret them with contemporary aesthetics, transforming them into treasured courtyard homestays within the ancient city. These ten buildings each offer five distinct immersive experiences: lodging, tea breaks, living intangible cultural heritage, art bazaars, and local life. We envision these courtyards as conduits connecting Xinjiang's culture with visitors, designing immersive programs that allow guests to fully experience both the ancient history of Kashgar's landscapes and the rhythms of daily life. In the same year, preparations were completed for “Silk Road Promise · Yili Liuxing Street Courtyard”—another vital trade post along the ancient Silk Road and a meeting point of nomadic and agrarian civilizations. It will officially open on May 1, 2026.

Let us together showcase the best of Xinjiang!
